tato gṛhītvā piṇḍebhyo mātrāḥ sarvāḥ krameṇa tu
tāneva viprānprathamaṃ prāśayedyatnato naraḥ //
Then he should take a little out of the balls of rice and offer it to the invited guests, according to precedence, making the first offer to the Brâhmaṇas.—42.
