16.44

pūrvaṃ dattvā tu taddhaste sapavitraṃ tilodakam
tatpiṇḍāgraṃ prayaccheta svadhaiṣāmastviti bruvan //

First of all, the twice-born invited to the feast, should be given rings of kuśa grass to wear on their ring fingers, and then a portion of the ball of rice should be presented to them, after putting a little water and sesamum in their hand by uttering Swadhaiṣâmastu.—44.
