pitṛtīrthaṃ gayā nāma sarvatīrthavaraṃ śubham
yatrāste devadeveśaḥ svayameva pitāmahaḥ //

Gayâ is the principal Piṭritîrtha. Lord Brahmâ Himself resides there and the Piṭris anxious for a share in the offerings have sung this story there.—4-5.
