yasmātte jānato dharmapravadhyā strī niṣūditā
tasmāttvaṃ saptakṛtveha mānuṣeṣūpapatsjase //
He said:—“Viṣṇu! You will be born seven times among men for the sin of killing a woman, knowing that a woman under no circumstances is to be killed.”—106.
