*ṛṣaya ūcuḥ
kathaṃ sūtātmajaḥ karṇaḥ kathamaṅgasya cātmajaḥ
etad icchāmahe śrotum atyantakuśalo hy asi //

The Ṛiṣis said :—“Sûta ! How is it that Karṇa is said to be the son of Sûta, when you say that he was the son of Aṅga? We wish to know about it, for you are an expert in these matters.—104.
