tadbrahmāṇḍapurāṇaṃ ca brahmaṇā samudāhṛtam //
(18) *The Brahmâṇḍa Purâṇa*.—The Purâṇa commencing with the glory of the cosmic egg, and in which Brahmâ has described the future Kalpas as well as the history of the Universe to the Devas, is known as the Brahmâṇḍa Purâṇa, and contains 12,200 ślokas.—54-55.
