yo dadyāttadvyatīpāte pītorṇāyugasaṃyutam
rājasūyasahasrasya phalamāpnoti mānavaḥ
hemadhenvā yutaṃ tacca brahmalokaphalapradam //
One who gives away this Purâṇa in charity, along with a yellow woolen garment, and a golden cow at the time of Vyatîpâta, attains the benefit of a thousand Râjasûya sacrifices.—56.
