anena vidhinā yastu kuryātkalyāṇasaptamīm
sarvapāpavinirmuktaḥ sūryaloke mahīyate
āyurārogyamaiśvaryam anantamiha jāyate //

One who thus observes the Kalyâṇa Saptamî ordinance, goes to the region of the Sun, after being liberated from all sins, and obtains long life, health and prosperity on this earth.—18.
