ahorātre gate paścād aṣṭamyāṃ kṛtanaityakaḥ
tatsarvaṃ viduṣe tadvad brāhmaṇāya nivedayet //
After the lapse of a day and night, on the 8th day of the fortnight, the devotee should give away all the things to the Brâhmaṇas after performing his daily prayers.—7.
