8.12

caturbhir ebhiḥ pṛthunāmadheyo nṛpo 'bhiṣiktaḥ prathamaṃ pṛthivyām
gate 'ntare cākṣuṣanāmadheye vaivasvatākhye ca punaḥ pravṛtte
prajāpatiḥ so 'sya carācarasya babhūva sūryānvayavaṃśacihnaḥ //

The various kings named above, collected together and took part in the coronation of king Pṛithu, and recognised him as the sovereign of the world. King Pṛithu reigned till the end of Châkṣusa Manvantara, when he was succeeded by King Vaivasvata Manu of the solar dynasty.—11-12.
