athānyāmapi vakṣyāmi śobhanāṃ śubhasaptamīm
yāmupoṣya naro rogaśokaduḥkhaiḥ pramucyate //

Śrî Bhagavân said:—I shall now explain to you about the excellent Śubha saptamî fasting, which frees the devotee from all diseases, sorrows and troubles.—1.
