puṇyena cāśvayuje māsi kṛtasnānajapaḥ śuciḥ
vācayitvā tato viprān ārabhecchubhasaptamīm //
The devotee should observe this ordinance on the seventh day of the bright fortnight, in the month of Aśvina, after ablutions and morning prayers, when the Brâhmaṇas have done the svastivâchana.—2.
