yaḥ paṭhennarmadātīre śivāgre sa śivātmakaḥ .. 11.43 ..
Or whatever Purāṇa-saṃhitā, whether Śaiva or Vaiṣṇava, / one recites on the bank of the Narmadā before Śiva, he becomes identical with Śiva.
