śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca -
narmadādakṣiṇe kūle nāgatīrthamanuttamam .
yatra siddhā mahānāgā bhaye jāte tato nṛpa .. 131.1 ..
The venerable Mārkaṇḍeya said: / On the southern bank of the Narmadā is the unsurpassed Nāgatīrtha, / where the great serpents achieved perfection, O king, when fear arose.
