narmadādakṣiṇe kūle tīrthaṃ paramaśobhanam .. 147.1 ..
Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then, O protector of the earth, one should go to the unsurpassed Siddheśvara, / an exceedingly beautiful sacred ford on the southern bank of the Narmadā.
