mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchenmahīpāla siddheśvaramanuttamam /
narmadādakṣiṇe kūle tīrthaṃ paramaśobhanam //
Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then one should go, O ruler of the earth, to the unexcelled Siddheśvara, / an exceedingly splendid pilgrimage place on the southern bank of the Narmadā.
