Thus ends the twelfth chapter, entitled ‘The Description of the Goddess's Union with Śiva,’ in the first half of the Aruṇācalamāhātmya of the Māheśvarakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa of eighty-one thousand verses.
