Thus ends the twelfth chapter, named 'Description of the Gods Drinking the Nectar' in the narrative of the churning of the ocean, in the Kedārakhaṇḍa of the first [section], the Māheśvarakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa consisting of eighty-one thousand verses.
