Thus ends the twenty-fourth chapter, named 'The Burning of Kāma,' in the Kumāreśvaramāhātmya of the Kaumārikākhaṇḍa of the first section, the Māheśvarakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skandapurāṇa, a collection of eighty-one thousand verses.
