Thus ends the thirty-sixth chapter, named “Description of the Origin and Greatness of the Hermitage of Caṇḍikā,” in the third section, the Arbudakhaṇḍa, of the seventh section, the Prabhāsakhaṇḍa, in the Skanda Mahāpurāṇa of eighty-one thousand verses.
