hiraṇyaṃ tatra dātavyaṃ brāhmaṇe vedapārage ..
koṭihomaphalaṃ tasya samyagyātrāphalaṃ bhavet .. 9 ..

Gold should be given there to a brahmin who has mastered the Vedas; / his fruit of a proper pilgrimage shall be the fruit of a crore of fire-oblations.”
