mahāprabhāvo deveśi sarvadāridryanāśanaḥ ..
mitro nāma purā devi dharmātmā'bhūddharātale ..
kāyasthaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ nityaṃ bhūtahite rataḥ .. 2 ..

He possesses great power, O ruler of gods, and destroys all poverty.
Formerly on earth, O goddess, there was a righteous man named Mitra,
who perceived the essence of all beings, always intent on the welfare of all creatures. (2)
