Thus ends the one hundred and ninety-sixth chapter, named “Description of the Māhātmya of Jalaprabhāsa,” in the first [sub-section], Prabhāsakṣetramāhātmya, of the seventh section, Prabhāsakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa, a compendium of eighty-one thousand [verses].
