sa yāti paramaṃ sthānaṃ yatra devo maheśvaraḥ .. 5 ..
He who, having become intent on fasting, observes a vigil there / on the fourteenth day of the dark half in the month of Bhādrapada, O beloved, / goes to the supreme abode where the god Maheśvara resides.
