tenaiṣā yāmyakā proktā satyaṃsatyaṃ mayoditam .. iti .
sanatkumārasaṃhitāyām-
asyāṃ nijagṛhe devi na bhoktavyaṃ kadācana ..

therefore this [tithi] is proclaimed as Yāmyakā; I have spoken the absolute truth.'
In the Sanatkumārasaṃhitā:
'On this [tithi], O goddess, one should never eat in one's own house.
