Chapter 6: Recital of the greatness of giving water in the month of Vaiśākha; the story of King Hemāṅgada on that subject—his birth in an animal womb due to not giving water in the month of Vaiśākha; his liberation through Śrutadeva after having become a lizard in the palace of the king of Mithilā.
