adhyāyaḥ 7 tadadbhutaṃ dṛṣṭvā vismitena maithilena pṛṣṭena śrutadevena vaiśākhamāse jaladānādimāhātmyakathanam, tadviṣaye svapiturvṛttāntakathanam

Chapter 7: Having seen that wonder, the amazed King of Mithilā questions Śrutadeva, who recounts the greatness of gifts of water and other offerings in the month of Vaiśākha; the recounting of the account of his own father on that subject.
