iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ tṛtīyebrahmakhaṇḍe setumāhātmye'gastitīrthapraśaṃsāyāṃ kakṣīvadudvāhodyogavarṇanaṃnāma ṣoḍaśo'dhyāyaḥ .. 16 ..

Thus ends the sixteenth chapter, entitled “The Description of the Endeavour for Kakṣīvat's Marriage” in the Praise of Agasti-tīrtha, in the Setumāhātmya in the Third Book, the Brahmakhaṇḍa, of the glorious Skandapurāṇa, a collection of eighty-one thousand verses.
