iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ tṛtīye brahmakhaṇḍe setumāhātmye kṣīrakuṃḍapraśasāyāṃ kadrūkṛtacchaladoṣaśāṃtikathāvarṇanaṃ-nāmāṣṭatriṃśo'dhyāyaḥ .. 38 ..

Thus ends the thirty-eighth chapter named 'Description of the pacification of the fault of deceit committed by Kadrū, in the praise of Kṣīrakuṇḍa,' in the Setumāhātmya, in the Brahmakhaṇḍa, the third [part], in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa consisting of eighty-one thousand verses.
