iti śrīskānde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ tṛtīye brahmakhaṇḍe setumāhātmye vetālavaradatīrthapraśaṃsāyāṃ sudarśanasukarṇaśāpamokṣaṇaṃnāma navamo'dhyāyaḥ .. 9 ..

Thus ends the ninth chapter, titled 'Release from the Curse of Sudarśana and Sukarṇa' in praise of the Vetālavarada sacred ford, in the Setumāhātmya of the third section, Brahmakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa, a collection of eighty-one thousand [verses].
