Thus ends the fourteenth chapter, named 'The Loss of Viṣṇu's Head,' in the Dharmāraṇyamāhātmya, in the first part of the third section, the Brahmakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skandapurāṇa, a collection of eighty-one thousand [verses].
