iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśīti sāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ caturthe kāśīkhaṇḍe uttarārdhe parāśareśvarādiliṃgasaṃbhavonāma paṃcaṣaṣṭitamo'dhyāyaḥ .. 65 ..

Thus ends the sixty-fifth chapter, named 'The Origin of the Liṅgas Beginning with Parāśareśvara', in the latter half of the Kāśīkhaṇḍa, in the fourth section of the venerable Skanda Mahāpurāṇa, in the collection of eighty-one thousand verses.
