Skanda said:
I shall tell you of the other liṅgas around Jyeṣṭheśvara;
hear, O tormentor of Vātāpi!
To the south of Jyeṣṭheśa is the auspicious liṅga of the apsarases;
right there is the apsarases' well named Saubhāgyodaka.
Having bathed well in the water of that well and beheld Apsaraseśvara,
neither a woman nor a man incurs misfortune.
Right there near the reservoir is the liṅga named Kukkuṭeśa;
from worshiping it, people's families multiply.
On the bank of the Jyeṣṭhavāpī is the auspicious liṅga Pitāmaheśvara;
having performed śrāddha there, a person grants delight to the ancestors.
To the southwest of Pitāmaheśa, one must carefully worship
the liṅga Gadādhareśvara, which grants complete satisfaction to the ancestors.
In the direction of the Puṇyajanas from the liṅga Jyeṣṭheśvara, O sage,
the liṅga named Vāsukīśvara is to be worshiped on all sides.
Ritual acts such as bath and giving at the Vāsukikuṇḍa there
remove fear of serpents for people through the power of Vāsukīśa.
He who bathes on Nāgapañcamī in the pool called Vāsuki
will have no contact with poison arising from serpents.
A pilgrimage should indeed be made there on Nāgapañcamī during the rains;
the serpents always remain well-pleased in his lineage as well.
To the west of that pool is indeed the liṅga Takṣakeśvara;
it is to be worshiped with effort, granting all perfections to devotees.
To the north of that, O sage, is the pool named Takṣaka;
having performed water rites there, one is not overcome by serpents.
To the north of that pool, constantly bringing welfare to the sacred field
and destroying the fear of devotees, is the Bhairava named Kapālī.
That great sacred field of the Bhairava grants perfection to practitioners;
mantras accomplished there attain success within six months.
There is the Caṇḍī Mahāmuṇḍā, who pacifies obstacles for devotees;
she should be worshiped with offerings, worship, and gifts to attain one's desired goals.
The best of men who undertakes her pilgrimage on the Mahāṣṭamī
becomes renowned, rich in sons and grandsons, and endowed with fortune.
To the west of Mahāmuṇḍā is the Catuḥsāgaravāpikā;
having bathed in it, one has bathed in all four oceans.
That place named Catuḥsāgara is very famous;
and there four liṅgas were established by the oceans.
Worshiped in the four directions of that reservoir, they burn away sin.
To the north of that is the great liṅga named Vṛṣabheśvara,
established out of his own devotion by the bull of Hara;
from seeing it, liberation arises for men in six months.
To the north of Vṛṣeśvara is [the liṅga] named Gandharveśvara;
to its east is Gandharvakuṇḍa. Having bathed there, the best of men,
having worshiped Gandharveśvara, given gifts according to his ability,
and gratified the ancestors and gods, rejoices with the gandharvas.
There is a nāga named Karkoṭa to the east of Gandharveśvara;
there is the Karkoṭavāpī and the liṅga Karkoṭakeśvara.
Having bathed in that reservoir, worshiped Karkoṭeśa,
and venerated the nāga Karkoṭa, a man is honored in the world of serpents.
For those who have seen the nāga Karkoṭa after offering water in that reservoir,
no poison, whether stationary or moving, penetrates their bodies.
To the west of Karkoṭeśa is [the liṅga] named Dhuṃdhumārīśvara;
from the worship of that liṅga, people have no fear born of enemies.
The liṅga Purūraveśvara is situated to its north;
it should be seen with effort, granting the fruit of the four goals of life.
In front of it is the liṅga worshiped by Supratīka, the world-elephant,
named Supratīkeśvara, which increases fame and strength.
A great lake named Supratīka shines before it;
having bathed there and seen that liṅga, one attains the state of a guardian of the directions.
There is a Mahāgaurī there named Vijayabhairavī;
situated at the northern gate for protection, she is to be worshiped for the attainment of desires.
On the charming bank of the Varaṇā, the two gaṇas Huṇḍana and Muṇḍana
protect the sacred field, stopping obstacles.
They should be seen with effort for the sake of freedom from obstacles in the sacred field;
having seen Huṇḍaneśa and Muṇḍaneśa there, one becomes happy.
