sthitvā varṣaśataṃ prājña tvaṃ śūdro dharmavatsalaḥ ..
upadeśānbahūndattvā jñātibhyo hitakāmyayā ..
api śraddhā vihīneṣu pāpātmasu sadaiva hi .. 13 ..

Having lived for a hundred years, O wise one, as a Śūdra devoted to righteousness, / having given many teachings to your kin out of a desire for their welfare, / even though they are ever devoid of faith and sinful in nature,
