na papāta dharāpṛṣṭhe saśaro dudruve drutam..
tataḥ sa kautukāviṣṭastasya pṛṣṭhe hayottamam ..
prerayāmāsa vegena manomārutavegadhṛk .. 12 ..
did not fall to the surface of the earth, [but] quickly ran away with the arrow.
Then, seized with wonder, he spurred an excellent horse behind it
with speed, bearing the velocity of the mind and the wind. 12
