talliṃgaṃ tatra saṃsthāpya cakrustāṃ narmadāṃ nadīm ..
tajjalaṃ narmadārūpaṃ lliṃgaṃ cāmarakaṇṭakam..5..
narakaṃ vārayatyetatsevitaṃ narakāpaham..
bhūtagrahāśca sarve'pi yāsyaṃti vilayaṃ dhruvam..6..

Having established that liṅga there, they formed that Narmadā river. / That water has the form of Narmadā, and the liṅga is Amarakaṇṭaka. / When attended upon, it averts hell, removing hell. / And all malevolent spirits and seizing demons will surely vanish into dissolution.
