69 punarbrāhmaṇebhyo dattāṃ mahīṃ balātkāreṇa grahītṛṇāṃ kṣatriyāṇāṃ rāmeṇa vadhakaraṇam, evamekaviṃśativārānniḥkṣatriyāṃ pṛthvīṃ kṛtvā brāhmaṇebhyastasyāḥ samarpaṇam , brāhmaṇavacanādāśīrvādena ca rāmahradeti nāmnā gartātīrthasthāpanam, rāmahrade śastra- hatānāṃ śrāddhena viśeṣaphalakathanam, sāmānyato rāmahradamāhātmyavarṇanam. 78 1

69 Rāma's slaying of the kṣatriyas who forcibly seized the earth given again to the brahmins; thus, having rid the earth of kṣatriyas twenty-one times, he bestowed it upon the brahmins; by the word and blessing of the brahmins, the establishment of the sacred ford of the pit under the name Rāmahrada; the description of the special fruit of śrāddha for those slain by weapons at Rāmahrada; the general description of the majesty (māhātmya) of Rāmahrada. 78 1
