atra pūrvaṃ vipāpmā'bhūdbrahmā lokapitāmahaḥ ..
satīvaktraṃ samālokya kāmārto'pi sa pāpakṛt .. 27 ..

Here formerly Brahmā, the grandfather of the worlds, became free from sin, / even though having committed sin, afflicted with passion upon beholding the face of Satī. (27)
