16 atheśāneśvaraliṃgamāhātmyavarṇanam, tatra muṃḍaputreṇa tuhuṇḍena jitairdevaiḥ śivājñayā mahākālavane gatvā śivaliṃgārcanakaraṇam, īśvareṇa prasannena svanāmnā tasya liṃgasyeśāneśvareti nāmakaraṇam, īśāneśvarasya devaiḥ stotrakaraṇam, īśāneśvaraliṃgamāhātmyavarṇanam... ..... ....... 92

16. Now, the description of the māhātmya of the Īśāneśvara liṅga: there, the gods, having been defeated by Tuhuṇḍa, son of Muṇḍa, went to the Mahākāla forest by Śiva's command and worshipped the Śiva liṅga; Īśvara, being pleased, named that liṅga Īśāneśvara after his own name; the gods uttered a hymn of praise to Īśāneśvara; the description of the māhātmya of the Īśāneśvara liṅga.
