17 athāpsaraseśvaraliṃgamāhātmyavarṇanam, tatra śakrasabhāyāṃ nṛtyamānāyā raṃbhāyāstālādibhirvikalatvaṃ prāptaṃ nṛtyaṃ dṛṣṭvā śakreṇa krudhā raṃbhāyai śāpadānam, tayā śāpanivṛttyarthaṃ nāradavacanātsvanāmnā mahākālavane liṃgaṃ saṃsthāpya nityapūjanena śivaṃ santoṣya tasmādvaraṃ labdhvā svarlokaṃ prati gamanam, apsaraseśvaraliṃgamāhātmyavarṇanam. 93 1

17. Now, the description of the māhātmya of the Apsaraseśvara liṅga: there, Indra, having seen Rambhā dancing in his assembly and her dance becoming flawed in rhythm and time, cursed Rambhā in anger; in order to remove the curse, by the word of Nārada she installed a liṅga under her own name in the Mahākāla forest, pleased Śiva through daily worship, received a boon from him, and went to heaven; the description of the māhātmya of the Apsaraseśvara liṅga.
