ṛṣimadhyagato devi tapastapati duṣkaram .
so'pi rudratvamāyāti samprāpte bhūtaviplave .. 103.105 ..

Remaining in the midst of seers, O goddess, he performs difficult austerity;
and he too attains Rudrahood when the destruction of beings arrives.
