tasmiṃstīrthe mahādevaṃ sthāpayitvā divaṃ gataḥ .
tadāprabhṛti tatpārtha kambutīrthamiti śrutam .
vikhyātaṃ sarvalokeṣu mahāpātakanāśanam .. 120.20 ..

Having installed Mahādeva at that sacred ford, he went to heaven. / From that time on, O son of Pṛthā, it was celebrated as Kambu tīrtha, / renowned in all the worlds, destroying heinous sins.
