tasmiṃstīrthe mahādevaṃ sthāpayitvā divaṃ gataḥ /
tadāprabhṛti tatpārtha kambutīrthamiti śrutam /
vikhyātaṃ sarvalokeṣu mahāpātakanāśanam //

Having established Mahādeva at that pilgrimage place, he went to heaven. / From that time on, O son of Pṛthā, it has been known as Kambutīrtha, / renowned in all the worlds, destroying great sins.
