uddhūlanaṃ kṛtaṃ gātre tena bhūtīśvaraṃ tu tat .. 177.2 ..
At that place formerly, O Pārtha, smearing with ash was done
upon his body by the spear-bearing God of gods; therefore it is Bhūtīśvara.
