namaste viṣṇurūpāya namastubhyamapāṃ pate .
sānnidhyaṃ kuru deveśa sāgare lavaṇāmbhasi .
iti sparśanamantraḥ .. 218.48 ..

“Salutations to you who are of the form of Viṣṇu! Salutations to you, O lord of waters! / Bestow your presence, O lord of gods, in the ocean of salty waters.”
— Thus is the mantra for touching [the ocean].
