aśraddhayā hutaṃ dattaṃ tapastaptaṃ kṛtaṃ ca yat .
asadityucyate pārtha na ca tatpretya no iha .. 227.21 ..

Whatever is offered in sacrifice, given, performed as austerity, or done without faith / is said to be nonexistent, O Pārtha; it is of no account either after death or here in this world.
