tato jñātvā mahadbhūtaṃ kṣudhāviṣṭaṃ dvijarṣabham .
na jahāti nagaśchāyāṃ pānārthāya tataḥ param .
apibacca sutaṃ tasmādabhṛtaṃ caiva bhārata .. 42.28 ..

Then, knowing that best of the twice-born to be a great being overwhelmed by hunger, / from then on the tree did not abandon its shade, and for his drinking / he drank the sap from it and was nourished, O descendant of Bharata.
