nihatā dānavāḥ sarve deveśena sahasraśaḥ .
andhako'pi ca tān dṛṣṭvā dānavānavaniṃ gatān .
tato vāgbhiḥ pratuṣṭāva devadevaṃ maheśvaram .. 48.77 ..

All the Dānavas were slain by thousands by the Lord of the gods. / And Andhaka, seeing those Dānavas fallen to the earth, / then praised Maheśvara, the God of gods, with words. 48.77
