trikūṭī tena vikhyātā pitṝṇāṃ trāyaṇī parā .
dvitīyācca tato gaṅgā vistīrṇā dharaṇītale .. 6.17 ..
Therefore she is celebrated as Trikūṭī, the supreme deliverer of the ancestors; / and from the second [peak] the Gaṅgā spread out across the surface of the earth. 6.17
