sa jñātvā tasya saṃkalpaṃ brahmaṇaḥ parameśvaraḥ .
mūḍhoyamiti sañcintya provāca varadaḥ svayam . .7 . .
āgataṃ pitaraṃ mā tvaṃ yasmāt putraṃ9 samīhase .
manmūrttistanayastasmād bhaviṣyati mamājñayā . .8 . .

Knowing that intention of Brahmā, the Supreme Lord, / reflecting, "He is foolish," the giver of boons himself spoke: / "Since you desire me, your father who has come, to be your son, / therefore by my command a son who is my own form will come into being.
